First time on the College Park campus - very nice - neat seeing legendary Cole Field House - Byrd Stadium cold and dreary - the grandstand opposite the press box is way too high - the seats up there must be awful.

MD fans very nice - many expressed dissatisfaction with the move to the Big Ten.

Sorry, but I still don't like the blue pants.

We hit really hard tonight.

I like the MD QB, C.J. Brown a lot - athletic, can run and throws well, but once again he was harassed by the Orange - we made him make mistakes.

Ryan Sloan getting time - he looks solid - strong and active - really pleased that he's playing.

Very happy with the number of players who get to play - my MD friend noticed it - "how many RBs do you guys have??"

We make way too many mistakes - the fumble by J. Smith really hurt and the penalties are maddening - especially the false start penalties - I still don't get the punt interference call- can somebody explain it to me?

Once again lots of frosh out there including Parris, Moore, Johnson, McFarland, Morris, Estime - but did not see Marquez Hodge.

Does anybody think that Broyld stopped the slant route that resulted in an INT?

Ryan Norton really stepped up today - the FG late in the first half - after two TOs by Randy Edsall - was clutch.

The Orange fans were out and loud!

Great effort - always a great day when the team wins an away conference game.

There was one camera angle that made that Broyld non-action look non-egregious.
Mainly, it looked like he should have made a diving effort to make sure that pass wasn't intercepted.

Yes, l think if Broyld had kept running there wouldn't have been an interception.

Blue pants, white tops and orange helmets was IMO the worst combo we've had. Terrible.

I agree about Broyld, I believe he can at the very least prevent the pic there.

My understanding of the punt interference call is that if you are inside the determined "halo" around the returner and purposely trying to distract (screaming at the return man or something similar) prior to the catch then a flag can be thrown. The only other time I've seen it called was when the rule was brand new, I think it was 4/5 years ago. Never see that called anymore without contact.

Life is good right now! Shock the world next week!

I dont think the uni issue is ours alone. Seems like a lot of teams have a different uniform every other game...

I liked the unis - they looked old school.

Broyld inexplicably gave up on that pass, if he doesn't it hits him in the chest.

Saw hodge on specials.

Looked on replay like Broyld ran a lazy route. If he made a hard slant he would have at least gotten his hands on the ball. He looked like a running back waiting for a screen pass. Does he know how to run routes from the WR position?

Good grief! More kvetching about the uniforms. Take a gander at what West Virginia wore tonight and the complaints about our different unis should stop.

there is no halo rule in college football.....http://www.chacha.com/question/is-t...all-still-in-effect-or-did-they-get-rid-of-it

we went thru this just a short time ago

It was reinstated last year. 1 yard.

It was a penalty today.
That's twice in three games... by the same player.

Don't care what they wear as long as they win. But the uni's have become a joke.

I believe the seniors pick what uni's to wear. Could be wrong, considering what they picked.

Broyld is absolutely at fault on that INT. Why would you ever stop moving towards a catchable ball? He is as maddening as the penalties.

I think an orange and white stripe on the side of the pants would have helped. We kind of looked like Florida in those uniforms.

im not sure how you can have a 15 yd penalty on a play with no contact.;.. what exactly is the rule for if no contact occurs?

I thought the uniforms yesterday were sharp, but didn't look like us.

I thought we looked good in the uni combinations. Very solid.

Do you think that Florida players/fans were saying..."Syracuse looked a lot like us out there today."

Or Virgina, Illinois, etc. "Wow we looked like Syracuse out there."

I think we are the only fanbase that worries so much about this garbage especially after a win. I think someone in a previous post said it, I don't care what they wear as long as they win.

"Kick catch interference" is an automatic 15 yard penalty, whether there is contact or not. If there is contact, the refs could also call a "targeting" foul and possible player ejection.

One step further...if the players AND potential recruits like them/think they are cool/want to play in those colors/whatever, then I wouldn't care if they made of Saran Wrap and colored in with a rainbow Sharpie.
