Would have liked to have seen a pass play called on 3rd and 7 instead of a run. A short pass trying to pick up the 1st down wouldn't have been rubbing their nose in it but giving a backup who has only been in for a handful of plays a chance to pass in a passing situation, but unfortunately I didn't expect them to pass and they didn't. We picked up 2 yards and punted.
He didn't pass but he did have a run for around 5 yards or so. I know it's an extremely small sample study but he did look like a better runner than Nassib though maybe a bit nervous/tentative. I wish Pugh was coming back because it would be nice to have the whole line back for a new qb in 2013.
