I was talking to someone this morning who mentioned that his son was in Syracuse for a few months. I told him that I'm a huge SU fan. He proceeded to tell me a story of being in Syracuse on business about 5 years ago and saw some guy in the bathroom who looked like a player. He asked this guy if he played basketball and the guy said "yea, I played a little". When he asked this guy his name (who he described as about 6'4ish with cornrows), he said Lawrence Moten. When he googled him later and saw that Moten was SU's all time leading scorer, he was impressed, but what really impressed him was how modest Moten was in their encounter. Thought some might appreciate the story.
