Syracuse has wins over Siena, Albany and Army, and is still a work in progress. Its rivalry game with Virginia (2-2) on Friday night (ESPNU) will be a true test. Penetrators and playmakers on offense not named Dylan Donahue are in short supply. The Orange has scary perimeter shooters, but that's fool's gold.

Not sure I'am following Quint's logic here, outside shooters are fools gold? Outside shooters is what this team has needed the past 2-3 year desperately. Once we get Prioli back should have the inside game to compliment the outside game.

Seems like outside shooters like DeJoe and Barber will finally give our offense some balance. But what do I know.

Agreed but he would be right about last year. That might be the worst wasted opportunity in my lifetime for a Syracuse lacrosse team. Team was so loaded offensively and with Ben Williams, sigh.

That's spot on. Every time he writes about Cuse, there is some sort of knock. Subtle, but its there. EVERY TIME.
