18. Syracuse — I have to admit, I'm a little down on this team right now. The Orange defense is a mess. The goalies are struggling. The record says 6-3, and the RPI is 12, but my eyes say this team is going nowhere. Taking home the Kraus-Simmons trophy used to mean something outside the 315.

So while Quint thinks Syracuse is going to fall of the face of the earth the reality is they have 2 overtime losses on the road at Johns Hopkins and Duke. It's not like they lost to Siena and Richmond. There's no bad losses here like Denver losing to Penn State.

People never consider that Syracuse is every team's super bowl. Syracuse has to take everybody's best shot every single night.
