Does conventional wisdom say that favors us since we are the underdog and thus would benefit more from a couple sloppy turnovers here and there? But we also have a precision-based offense that could struggle with those conditions. So I suppose it could be an advantage or a disadvantage. Hence, my post has said nothing of substance.

Typically it is the offense that has the advantage in poor weather. They know where they are going. The D has to react to them so the wet conditions could potentially slow their reactions. Now if Dungey has problems throwing a wet ball, that is another case all together.
 
I think field turf has removed much of the advantage rain used to bring to the offense. wind still can be an issue, but lacking mud and using these suction gloves i dont know how they ever drop a ball.
