Normally that would not bother me, but come on, not the same week as Bowie. The athletic department needs a proof reader. Someone there must know how to spell and must know proper grammar.

I would totally do it. Better than doing the same thing for auto and home insurance all day

The crime is not that they spell things wrong; the crime is that they don't proofread. Let two or three other people peruse your work before it goes out into the world. These mistakes are easily avoidable.

You wonder if it is student interns making these mistakes or regular university employees. Either way it doesn't say much for the Syracuse students or for whomever is hiring these employees. Someone needs to ratchet it up a notch.
