We used to be close back in the 80's and ran with the same circle of friends. I asked her if David ever plans on coming back to coach at Syracuse, or if he ever wants to, and she said that he's not taking a step down, now that he's coaching in the NFL at Indianapolis. I told her that coaching at your Alma mater is not really taking a step down, but she basically said that he has moved on.

I really get depressed when I think about Gerg replacing Coach P and all those great young coaching talents that we lost.

Never understood the love affair with him ad a coach. To my recollection, he was not a great, or even good, recriiter. Am I wrong?

General view is that he became a better recruiter when he went to Pitt.

Who were all these great young coaches?
