Didn't Konrad and the players from that era all write a letter in favor for him getting the job in 2009? (Might be misremembering the year). But we all know how that 2009 hire turned out (good).

BC hired him while we were prepping for the 2012 Pinstripe Bowl. So our window there was closed before we knew we were going to open it, and we all know how that 2013 hire turned out (bad).
