-Not sure if it's Hunt, a new system of relaying the calls, or just more familiarity, but it seems we are much more efficient getting the plays in on time.

-Not sure if Reddish was injured, but Whigham seemed to get most of the 2nd half reps after Reddish gave up that TD pass.

-Seemed to play a lot more man coverage, instead of cover 2. Less big plays, more dink and dunk. Me likey

-Beckett Wales needs these 2 weeks off more then anyone. He was walking with an obvious limp, and was constantly trying to stretch his leg.

-Not sure if it's their style of play, but Tulane seemed to be in a lot of press coverage taking away quick hitters to Broyld.

-Omari Palmer got some plays resting Robinson. Proceeded to make a couple miscues. Didn't capitalize on opportunity.

- Great idea with the live DJ. We have entered the 21st century music wise

-Need to improve on tackling. Bunch of misses

The point on tackling is what stood out to me. Two weeks to work on it.

After the game I was thinking how frustrating it was, how bad our D looked at times, and then I really thought about 52-17 and... wow. Nice. It still doesn't "feel" like that much of a blowout, probably because ST turned the game for us so much, on so few plays.

But man, we are finally getting back to the point where we beat the bad teams like a drum. It's been a while. And we definitely pass the look test. Amazing what Marrone did in his four years here, and Shafer continued, to turn that roster over. Just amazing.

Agree also about the coverage. Some stuff early in the game where Montana was throwing right to spots in the zone and that shiite drives me crazy.

Yeah, they did get some yards and gave us a BUNCH of points but a pretty focused performance from our guys. Was a little disappointed in the DBs. Seems like whether it was in zone or man, they had trouble containing Shackleford and Grant.

I want to see Hunt against a real D. LOVE his poise and decision making. Seems to have it. I don't think he's a 4.5 guy frankly and we'll see if he will need to put more zip on the ball for certain routes moving forward against very good competition. He looks terrific, though.

I chuckled a little bit when Drew came in and it took everyone longer to get lined up. They burned a TO too. Hunt gets them ready to go, they look poised and then the execute.

You mean no more overused music from one or two decades before the students were born? That will kill attendance.

actually had some stuff from an album that just came out yesterday I believe. Pretty impressive, the student section seemed to be dancing along to his music

Reddish had a lower body injury, like Welsh, and missed the second half.

At one point, just before second half started, the entire sideline ws dancing to a rap song. It was fun to see them all into it. Think it was young jeezy and 2 chainz, rip. My knowledge of rap is not great.

Didn't they burn 2 TO's when he came in?

You mean all 30 of them in the second half?

You're correct. I read somewhere that he is actually the slowest of the QB's. Reportedly ran a 4.9 forty. The good news is that he plays fast and is much stronger than he looks.

How long does it take to say "1 100" that is how much longer over a full 40 yards an additional second adds. 40 times are great but Hunt is plenty fast enought to be a threat running the ball. His vision, timing, and quickness more than make up for a lack of burner speed.

Yep. No question.

It seems we just cannot shut down a wide receiver when we need too. Clemson will exploit that.

We are catering to the worst BCS student section? them. Put them in the upper deck end zone. They suck.
Way to be forward looking. You gotta get the students involved and showing up - this is COLLEGE football

The fades and bubble/outs worry me. Then their running game. Oh yeah, their team speed. And...

Every time I hear about the new DJ at the Dome, I cringe and think of DJ Pound Puppy, or whatever his name is, that UCONN has at the Rent.

Someone please tell me they aren't similar. I won't be able to tell for myself until I get up there for the Clemson game.
