Taking SU out of the equation, rank how annoyed you would be if each team won the national title. Least annoyed first. There are no truly hate-worthy teams in this group (e.g. Duke, Georgetown, Kentucky, UConn), but I figured it would be interesting to see what people say.

1. Oregon: it would be cool if they won. They have great sports fans but can never seem to get over the hump in basketball or football.

2. Kansas: they're the best team in the country. If they won it would be an appropriate ending to the season.

3. Oklahoma: Lon Kruger might be the most under-appreciated coach in college basketball. He deserves a title.

4. North Carolina: Pretty neutral about this. I would like it for conference bragging rights purposes, I suppose.

5. Notre Dame: Mike Brey is a very likable person but all accounts, but it's still Notre Dame at the end of the day.

6. Villanova: even if they won, we would still be comfortably ahead of them in the all-time program rankings, but it would be annoying if they had two titles and we had one.

7. Virginia: few SU fans will admit this, but we're kind of paranoid about UVA filling the ACC bully vacuum that we created after we went 25-0. I simply don't want them to win it at all.

The home cooking Villanova got in their win against us last year is still stuck in my craw. Usually, I pull for them but not this time.

2. Oklahoma They are a lot of fun to watch.
3. Kansas Best team, as you say
4. Virginia Love the university, pace of games are too slow
5. UNC They've won enough
6. Villanova See above
7. Oregon Screw Nike
8. Notre Dame Because

Virginia is second or third on tbat list.

1. UVA- Good fanbase/Good coach. I have absolute nothing but respect for the program.
2. Oklahoma- I like the coach and the fanbase cares about FB so it won't really change anything.
3. Oregon- Same as Oklahoma except I don't like their HC as much.
4. Villanova- I like Jay Wright but their fanbase is similar to ours just not as big.
5. North Carolina- I can live them over Kansas.
6. Kansas- I am not a fan of this program.
7. Notee Dame- I will never root for ND in any sport. Their fanbase including some of my own family make this school completely unlikable.

1. SU
2. SU
3. SU
4. SU
5. SU
6. SU
7. SU
8. Villanova so long as they don't have to play SU head to head to get it.

I always hate when another program wins a national championship; its either someone putting more distance between us and them or someone putting themselves in the same position as us ( 1x NC winner). Can I vote for they decide to cancel the rest of the tournament and not award the championship if SU gets knocked out??

That sounds about right, I would put Unc first, when they are right, they are the best team in the country.

1-Kansas. have thought they were the best team all year.
2-unc. despite many on this board i actually enjoy watching unc play
3-Villanova.like jay wright as a coach
4-Oklahoma. indifferent on them.
5-Oregon.them not winning adds to the pac12 overrated.
6-Virginia. They have been our bitch since joining acc.
7- Notre Dame.don't like em one bit

Virginia is likable Maryland from the early 2000s.

I won't have any anger at that program if they won it all.

Me either, they have some classy fans, and haven't been to the final four in a while.

Oklahoma for two reasons. 1. hield is amazing to watch. Guy just takes over. 2. I have them winning my company bracket and could use the money.

Least would be nova. I hate losing to nova and archidacano annoys me.

In what sport? Lacrosse.
We have beaten every ACC team since 2013 except UVA.

UVa going forward will be very interesting to watch. Clearly, Bennett's scheme is a large reason for their success. But, ultimately, any team's success comes down to the talent that's put on the field/court. I wonder if they will find someone who can run that offense as well as Perrantes has.

edit... i read your post wrong so the joke is on me. I thought you were actually ranking the teams based on the title.

I think the Nova vs. SU argument would be closer than you think.

1. Kansas
2. Oklahoma
3. UNC
4. Nova
5. Virginia
6. Oregon
7. Notre Dame

Lists starts at "Do not want to win"

#7 - UNC: This is clear cut, should not even be debatable. Cheaters. They finally have a team that is experienced enough to coach themselves. That is always the secret at UNC... get a really experienced team to overcome Roy.

#6 Kansas - Of the "Big 4" I despise them the least, but I have no real desire to see them win.

#5 Notre Dame - Not a likable school.

#4 - Villanova - I don't really understand why I am supposed to hate these guys.

#3 - Virginia - Don't really understand the hate for them here. Obviously they will get the least cheers from me in the round of 8, but if they win I will cheer for them in the Final 4.

# 2 - Like the coach, the players, and its a school I have been historically indifferent to.

#1 - Oregon (Purely because I have them as 66-1), but I don't mind the team either.

There's a decent possibility because we signed Ty Jerome, a 4* PG from Iona Prep. He starts school this fall. We also signed Kyle Guy, a Burger Boy combo guard from Indiana, for this fall, too.

Do not want to win:

7. Virginia - plays SU Sunday
6. UNC - imagine if SU was caught with what that mess?
5. Kansas - Toto should be their mascot and i don't like small dogs
4. Notre Dame - last time i pulled for one of their teams Ara Parseghian was coaching it
3. Oregon - they won it in 1939 and should be satisfied with that
2. Nova - can't hate a team that beat G'town in the finals
1. Oklahoma - my only prayer in the office pool
