I feel like Houston is underrated here at #5. I would put a frontcourt of Drexler/Hayes/Olajuwon against any NBA frontcourt ever let alone a college one.

UCLA wins that going away. Kareem was the best college player ever and is arguably the best basketball player ever, period. Pair him with Walton and they could have basically anyone on the rest of the team.

I would then rank Houston and Kansas as #2 and #3 in whatever order. Probably would hold Kansas as #2 because Wilt was such a freak.

After that it drops. Sorry Duke and Carolina. If Tyler Hansbrough and Zion are the centers, there is ZERO chance you are beating any of UCLA, Houston or Kansas. Zero.

Seikaly at Moten’s expense
That would be a hell of a rebounding team and would be pretty hard to stop on the offensive end.

I just went to check St. Peter's squad to see how great Elnardo Webster was (he led them to a win over Duke as Sr.) and here's what I also find in today's news...kinda shocking and sure messes up their reunion at the next game in Philly.

No Kentucky, Wake, Syracuse, Georgetown...

I’d go Sherm, Bing, Melo, Coleman, and then either Owens or Seikaly.
It's hard to leave Billy off, but I would go with Seikaly. Rony was so good as an upper classman.

Given that they said they were basing it solely on college, I can see why they're fifth.

It would be hard for me to leave Sherm off. I came along as a fan just after Pearl, so I would probably have to go with Sherm. "You get an alley oop, you get an alley oop, you get an alley oop..."
That's the team I would most enjoy seeing play. Pearl was a unique talent.

If I had to pick a team to win a single game, with everyone at their best positions, I'd go with Douglas, Bing, Anthony, Coleman and Seikaly.

Hansbrough and Zion are recency bias picks.

Most fun to watch:

Pearl
Bing
Owens
Carmelo
DC
For fun factor add the 2 most funky players: Edelin with his low gear and Pace . for playing with ease add Moten. For did he do that add Flynn and Stevie T.

Sam Perkins was a lot better then Hansbrough for North Carolina.

UNC is so deep that you could probably make a different 5 that beats the 5 they named.

I’ll go:
Ty Lawson
Vince Carter
Antawn Jamison
Rasheed Wallace
Brad Daugherty

and beat that team they listed, IMO. Hansbrough had a phenomenal college career but he was not a better player than Jamison, Rasheed, or Daugherty.

*edit: jeez, I forgot Perkins
