they really dont have that many to deal with.. only 600 for the entire ncaa season they cant all be football related but im sure its enough to require some effort, but still they know the deadlines as well. probably the staff is on vacation these few weeks.

They have to make some kind of ruling this week don't they? It's getting to the point of being unfair to the kid.

Cody Jamison missed 80% of the lax season while the NCAA dicked around. Different circumstances, but still, they don't have to make a decision by this week, even though you would think they would make every effort to do so.

600 apps? No wonder these take what seems like an eternity to process and investigate. Sounds like the NCAA should staff up the clearinghouse on this. Maybe they charge the university involved a relatively small processing fee to help pay for additional staff and a higher fee to expedite the research and decision.
