This kid had a monster game last week, 359 yards, 42 carries, 4 TD's. but probably not on Syracuse 's radar, but, according to this article, has taken a recruiting visit to Michigan. I'm not comparing him to Mike Hart, but reading about Michigan made me think of him. 2026 running back, Benjamin Coryea updates his recruitment

Buffalo has a 2027 RB (blanking on his name) who has some serious offers. I believe he is on our radar.
Edit: Elijah Kimble

From down here is Georgia Friday night. This is sick AF.

West Laurens RB Ty Cummings rushed for a state-record 615 yards and eight touchdowns on 19 carries in a 70-55 victory over Baldwin. His scoring runs covered 59, 91, 75, 53, 59, 59, 86 and 78 yards.

Watched his film. Impressive.

He lists himself at 5’9 and 190 pounds and says he has a 4.53 40.

I believe the 4.5 40. But he looks 5’7 175, to me.

Runs really hard, good vision and balance. I have no doubt that pound for pound he is one of the best players in the state. But I don’t see him playing P4 level college football.

I probably would not have posted if it didn't mention Michigan. Sounds like he is a very smart kid who is just not big enough or fast enough for P4. However, if he keeps putting up huge numbers, the big fish will find him. Reminds me of Jordan Canzeri, who is similar size, who was a great athlete at Troy High and ended up at Iowa.

The Joe Morris comparison came to mind as well as Mike Hart.

Is this kid even offered?
No. Also, I think we are all set at RB for this class. We have the 2 RBs from PA and 4 other athlete types. One will probably end up at RB.

Not sure preferred walk-ons will even exist from this point forward…

He is a fine player. Wish him the best finding a good college home.

Subscriber only article I believe. I understand that he has a Penn State offer already. Toomey and Arthur Jones IV are going to be big time recruits from NYS in the class of 2028.
Yes, it says he has offers from Cuse and Penn State, and he went to summer camps at those two schools plus Alabama and Buffalo.
