2026 RB Daniel White, Half Hallow Hills East, Dix Hills, NY

I'm not a scout and haven't been in a Holiday Inn in years but his tape looks exceptional, other than his top speed. Based on his photo with coach White he can't be much more the 5'6. Imagine him behind our huge O line.
I thought his top speed was very good, actually (like you, I have no credentials to back up my opinion). I believe there were only a couple of instances where anybody even maintained pace with him. His burst/acceleration through and away from defenders was very impressive. Just my $0.02. (Does anyone have any change? :) )

That’s a ridiculously long, highlight film. Don’t know about the competition, but that man can cut, juke and jive like Barry Sanders.

Which is kind of the opposite of Joe Morris -not that you made the comparison - who couldn’t do those things, but ran with great straight-line speed and power.

Bring back the sprint draw.

The defense will be unable to see the handoff. That could cause the defense a split second delay in reacting. Kind of like George Deleone's Freeze Option technique could do.
I hope I'm remembering correctly on that wrinkle in the run game.

Our version of the Wake slow mesh

I believe the freeze was riding fullback to read 3 shade and deciding to give keep or pitch. Double 1 shade right guard avoids 3 straight to play side backer

Typically, the competition in Long Island is like most of New York. Not very good. There’s 3 million people on the island, and typically there might be two three star prospects per year total. (I believe the corner we got last year was the only one in 2025 class). but speed, and agility are what they are. It’s not like a lineman who it’s hard to tell if he’s soft or not because of the competition he plays. those guys really need to be at camps against other big, strong, fast guys to prove they belong because of the low level competition they play against.
