We can’t take every skilled player out there.

We are surely almost out of spots and I think there is already no room at a few positions.

Sorry it didn’t work out with Kentrell but if you want to go to Syracuse, you need to verbal pretty quickly after you are offered, or you might lose your spot.

Has to be this. I 10000% agree with how we are handling recruiting. Coach clearly is using a friendly sense of urgency and not messing around. It’s get in or the spot can be gone, cards are in your hand Mr. Recruit.

Supply is low, so coaches demands of a player to fill the class I believe is high. He put himself in a position to load the foundation of our class early and now can hone in on specific recruits to close this class out. I’m blown away.

I really don't like his choice of words. I suspect it is just the way he chose to word it (he "unfortunately found" that there was no room for another RB). I HOPE that's the case as I really liked him as a potential Orangeman. Because otherwise, it is a not so subtle way of starting rumors or casting aspersions as to our football program, new coach/staff, etc.
 
Since he deleted the tweet, does that mean the visit is back on?

I assume no - I assume it’s someone in his “camp” advising against putting that vibe out there. Kinda might come across a little whiney. Just my opinion, cause if it was my son I would tell him to delete it also. Nothing was out of line at all, it’s just not going to be fruitful to have that vibe out there of like “well poor me I wanted to go but unfortunate circumstances happened”. It just opens up questions when they don’t need to be there.
 
Kid looks like a solid prospect and while i'm sure the staff would like to have him there likely aren't enough spots as I assume we aren't bringing in 3 RB's in 2025. We need to use that spot at another position. We brought in 2 bigger backs in 6'-1" 215 lbs Yasin Willis and 5'-11" 205 lbs Jaden Hart in the 2024 recruiting class. And with two faster elusive backs in the 2025 class I think the staff decided that's it. In 2025 we have Malachi Coleman at 5'-10" and 185 lbs and Bo MacCormick at 6-'0" 190 lbs. I'm guessing in 2026 we bring in at least one bigger power back.

Just a little surprised we don't squeeze a visit in to possibly take a talent of his level in this age of portal and graduations always being able to make room at the inn. Particularly since we'll have 2 RBs leaving next year and bringing in 2 Bo and Malachi who seems to need some time...We seem to only have 4 RBs with 2xSo and Fr.. We seem to lack depth for next year at RB.
