I haven't been "here" before. Still not there. It has been so long since Syracuse was recognized as a good team. If we get Washington, other highly regarded recruits will follow. So yes, I will cry.
 
Yeah, Bailey said the article was a few weeks away when he was asking for the #Restore44 e-mails. So it probably won't come out for a couple more weeks.

Amen. Tears are ok in this situation !! I dont think we will get him without offering #44 though. Sadly, we are not in the same stratosphere as most the other big schools who have offered...

He likes Syracuse. I know, we have heard the same from many others that eventually sign their LOI with the bigger programs. I read (it may have been this thread) where his father stated that he is not a predictable kid and that he is not all about glim and glitter. He also said he would sign with whatever team made him feel comfortable and had an atmosphere he was attracted to. There is always hope.

If you have read the thread, and especially posts by Caliluv, you can see that Washington seems to be a different cat. Sure it's easy to to say now that the name of the school won't matter, but in this case I tend to believe him. Sometimes it's more gratifying to help build a program into a power, then hop on the bandwagon. Only time will tell, but I definitely don't think it's #44 or bust.

I don't think its 44 or bust either. There are very few schools on his list that can offer what he is looking for. As I have said in the past though tcu will be tough as they are offering pretty much what we are. The 44 offer would be what separates us from them and right now I give the edge to tcu. We need to up the stakes
 
It's gotta be easier to make a list of who hasn't offered him than who has at this point.
 
Does anyone know if we are recruiting his sis. She seems to be a legit bball player. I am unsure what grade she is in but a 3.91 GPA and some PG skills should def get a look from Q. It would be awesome to bring the whole family to the promise land as they all seem to be absolutely outstanding people.

Hopefully this is just a case of that 6th team being rotating for him and really is way outside looking in
 
Right now I find myself wishing our RW insider would stop back in to talk us all down off of the ledge. Ha.

(It doesn't help that my brother is a massive pessimist when it comes to SU recruiting and is now saying, "Of course he put Bama on the list, it's because that's where he's going, because there's no way he'd ever go to SU, at the end of the day.")
 
I am thinking that he wants the team he picks to have the drama and attention that goes along with a kid choosing that "smaller" school over the blue bloods.
 
Hey all that matters is that we are one of the top 6 schools in there with elite company. At least we can say we have a better shot than the 40 other schools that offered him and didn't make the cut.
