Not good traits for a qb. I say pass. Time to give Kinder Hunt and B a chance

Didn't seem to hold back Vince Young, who I believe scored the lowest score ever on the Wonderlick, or whatever they call their NFL IQ test.

I would take this kid even if he only had one arm over anybody on our team now. I don't Care what the kid did in the past if he calls us we better listen and open the door. I'm sick of losing I'm sick of going to games and watching our qb missing players down field by ten yards. Nassib is a joke and I would rather see us take our lumps next year getting our future some reps then see the status quo of nassib. wake up cuse fans ryans a great kid but he's a bad qb
With the whole 720 SAT thing...
Isn't the minimum score to play like an 830 out of 1600? If he really did score that badly and can't get it up in time, he's prepping next year and not playing at Clemson or Syracuse or anywhere else.
I remember Mike Jones (basketball) having that problem a couple of years ago.
SU athletes are representatives of the university. If HCDM can trust Kelly to be a good representative of the university then he should pursue him vigorously. But if not, just stay away from him completely.wow some of you amaze me...hes a big qb recruit and i'd b e esatic to get him even if this rumor is prob not true. If some of you want a precious 4 star and one with some character flaws has your panty in a bunch then what the hell are you looking for. We NEED him and IF we got him, would be a huge GET.
Yes. Something to the effect of "I don't know where these rumors are coming from."Wasn't there a thread a week or so ago with a tweet from Kelly saying the rumor wasn't true?
On the football side...was thinking how Cater and EJ Carter failed just last nite. Sad those kids now realize they screwed up.What a waste of talent he was... He could have been great! Just goes to show you that talent doesn't immediately spell success.
Didn't Donovan McNabb score low on the Wonderlick as well? Certainly doesn't mean much in college, and maybe not such a big deal in the NFL either.Didn't seem to hold back Vince Young, who I believe scored the lowest score ever on the Wonderlick, or whatever they call their NFL IQ test.
Does B = Broyld?
The same Broyld who pulled his pants down and swung his JOHNSON around for the hundreds in attendance?
Thats a solid trait for a QB...
I am no anti-Broyld by any means... but 2 things.
1. compare what broyld and kelly did. and get back to me. and lets be honest... i have heard kelly speak. he isnt dumb. he may not be the brightest, but he didnt get a 720 on his SAT's... isnt it out of 2400 now?
2. Anyone that thinks that a football player cant get into Clemson (a stupid school and a football school, meaning they accept reg stupid joes and then because they are a football school will accept reg IDIOTS who can throw a ball) and thinks they are getting into Cuse (a private school with very little concerns for football) you are INSANE. You have been suspended from the football forum until spring practice starts.

I agree with number 2, so this is more just for the sake of debate. But I don't think the first point really holds much water just because it can easily be flipped the other way. We already have Broyld who is bigger, I'm going to say faster but both are very athletic, and put up similar stats against similar competition. As far as their behavior, it's a matter of taste whether you prefer the guy that everyone seems to have good things to say about that have met him, but then let emotion get the best of him at a contest... or the kid that sounds like a complete jackhole, but may not have been caught doing something illegal. To me Broyld and Kelly are the same, with the exception that Kelly has a HOF name. In fact I prefer Broyld because if DM decides that in the wake of this year that he absolutely can't have an "immature" QB, at least Broyld can rock half the positions on the field.
Has it actually been established that he scored that low? Seems like it's only a rumor at this point. We're not talking about the Wonderlick, we're talking about getting a legendarily low score on one of the most important tests for a HS athlete. A 720 indicates that either a.) Chad Kelly is really really dumb, or b.) Chad Kelly didn't give a **** about the test. With a score that low, I'm inclined to believe the latter, and honestly, if he can't take that seriously, how can we trust him to do the requisite work that is required as a D1 athlete on the field and in the classroom?
I don't think Kelly's going to fare too well if he can't read a playbook.
