The past has everything to do with it. Go find a team that had 10 players on it drafted into the NBA. Even 7 or 8 is ridiculous; I do think 96 Kentucky had it. But that's like one team. One of the most ridiculously talented teams ever.

Edit: Blacksquirrels, who from UK was drafted last year? Brandon Knight wouldn't count, he was a frosh last year.  Or, Harrallson, right?  How could I forget.
