Really hoping that 10/5/13 looks like 10/21/11

SU 49, #11 West Virginia 23

Nassib had a coming out party, the game was nationally televised, and we took an 11th ranked West Va with lots of Geno hype out behind the woodshed. No one was looking for us to win that game. Hell we're not even getting any mentions on the Tiger board, they are talking up Maryland game.

I watched the ending of the Texas game after Uconn, and that place was unreal. I was at the FSU 04 game, and it was def loud. All i really want is a packed house, and to make the game competitive. A last series type of game.

This has the potential to be the type of lock the doors behind them and throw away the key atmosphere HCSS talked about previously.

There are more similarities then people think. 2 weeks to prepare for that WVU offense that had a ton of hype with a Heisman level QB. And that Clemson offense put up just 26 points against a NC State team (their first road game of season) that doesn't have anywhere near the talent Cuse has defensively.

A lot of people will point what Clemson did to Georgia as to why that offense is so good, but Georgia had to replace most of their key defenders.

I personally think Syracuse can win this game in a similar manner to the West Virginia game. Will need to play a near perfect game to do it.

I am personally more concerned about Syracuse offense v Clemson defense.

I dont know how we block the 2 DE's we did a poor job against tulane and NW and PSU. the clemson guys are way faster

In 2011 West Virginia was 5-1 and ranked #13-16, depending on the poll, (they' been clobbered by LSU 21-47: we beat them by exactly the same margin, so we were LSU for a day).

In 2012, Louisville was 9-0 and ranked from 9th-11th, depending on the poll.

Clemson is currently 3-0, (and will play Wake Forest in the week we have off), and ranked #3-4, depending on the poll.
