HBO's Realsports did a segment (21 mintues) on the bowls and how they soak the school and pay exorbitant salaries to executives while claiming to be charitable organizations for tax purposes. It's worth a look, (in Syracuse Time Warner Cable you can request it on channel 299). It covers some of the same ground as htis article in last year's SI:
