That isn’t what I said.. He played ok … I just know how to count turnovers and how they occurred. I assume you were ok with him running for his life most of the game?

Our defense gave up 7.25 yards per play. Good for #128 out of 134 in FBS and dead last in the Power 4. The defense was FAR worse than the offense

To be fair did you happen to look at how many P4 teams went on the road to play a ranked team? I counted 7 teams including us, or around about that. I know pesky details right. You tell me what other P4 teams had a tougher matchup than us in week 1, you can count them on 1 hand, maybe 2.

No one's saying the defense was showed up but 95% of P4 teams played cupcakes at home so who's to say what would've happened to them if they had to go on the road to play a legit team.
