It doesn't mean you are giving uncommittable offers. If the kid asks the coach, if he were to commit tomorrow? And the coach responds that he would welcome him to the team? It is a commit-able offer. At the TIME of the offer.

Wait x months, and things may have changed. That's recruiting, and some kids don't understand it. There should be info provided by the NCAA, so kids understand they are in a fluid situation. Pulling an offer at the last minute is horrible- if not for severe character issues that arise. I don't believe we do that.
