Recruiting from AAU vs out of Highschool

Curious.

Where have most of our top recruits since ‘03 came from? The AAU circuit or directly from highschool? I know most at least touch AAU.

Everyone in highschool who is elite plays AAU.

Girard and Buddy played AAU for the City Rocks.

Coaches don't see guys in high school. Kid's play AAU because they play over the spring/summer and that is when college coaches can get out to see them play as their season isn't going on.
