Is it worth it?
The Atlanta Journal keeps a running total of all the Georgia kids offered by division 1 schools in the state.

156 kids in Georgia have been offered by division 1 schools so far in this recruiting cycle. Of those I counted 98 kids committed to BCS schools, 98, with the number surely to grow by signing day.
The move to the ACC is going to pay off huge with southern kids, especially in Georgia, and the kids are saying as much. The kids play year round and the competition is better, kids get to campus not as raw and ready to go. It's definitely time and money well spent.
