Was it me or has syracuse d linemen been held all day without calls the past two games. On the key play where they called pass int on us, the cuse d lineman got tackled from behind and no call. One holding call all game? Please

Last week, unc grabbed our d lineman and wrs all game. Its getting aburd.

Honestly, when we got called for the hold and flashbacked to the ineleigible down field from Clemson (flags that only get thrown when the ref is looking to the throw the flag) I thought the fix was in and it was another "Welcome to the ACC, Yankee" moment.

And then we won and it turned out ok, but I still side eye the refs in our conference once in a while.

For sure, slippery south at its finest. I dont trust them.

That hold was right in front of me and very blatant. The ref was standing right there and no way he didn’t see it unless he’s Stevie Wonder.

NC St guard for away with false start a few times till they called him on st the end
I think the refs do a good job in the secondary
Some interesting no calls around the line area...

When they hit Hoff and it seemed like roughing the kicker...TV people, was it? It looked like it live to me but it wasn't called.

I could not believe they didn't call roughing the punter for us. They had two guys run into our punter. A little consistency out of officials is important. If you are gonna call it one way then you have to call it for other team as well. That was such an easy call. I for the life of me can't figure out why a flag wasn't thrown.

And then of course they missed that one obvious hold on NC State and then called us for a ticky tac DPI.

I think it was a "running into the kicker" penalty rather than roughing but the 5 yards would have been enough for a first down.

Well I think there was both. I think first guy ran into the punter but the 2nd guy that came in roughed the punter and knocked him to the ground. But like you said either way would have resulted in a 1st

I thought a couple of the interference calls on NCst, particularly the one at the end of the game, could have easily been not called due to an uncatchable ball, so I'm okay with the refereeing yesterday.

Agree. Both teams called for nine penalties and it seemed we got a few pass interference calls that I wouldn't have called.

I didn’t expect a 15 yard variety penalty for the contact on Hofrichter, but I did expect a 5 yard type.

some of the PI calls though really it was holding earlier in the route but the refs have a hard time telling if its before the pass on some of those routes

We definitely have a hard time getting a break with instant replay. If they kept stats on that, our % would be extremely low
