ND played a heckuva game against UVA last night. Syracuse will probably be favored by 3-4 points, but that doesn't mean much. They don't have a lot of experienced size, but they do have some impressive shooters.

Pretty much this. ND will be 50/50 and maybe-kinda-sorta-if-you-squint, Cal. SU is projected for 16 wins. So not much room for farting around. Unless you're Jimmy Southerland. Then fart around all you want.

I agree with your assessment. Hope we get lucky to get 4 wins (2 wins off the 3 coin flips), so we have at least a winning season.

When angry in the aftermath of a loss, I’ve said 2-8 in some other threads. Starting to think that might be the base case after all

It’s tough to see more than 3 here and would be surprised if we manage a winning record.

After that BC game, nothing is guaranteed

Remember when posters were projecting 21, 22 wins? These discussion boards are fine, but they are primarily for expressing opinions vs a lot of factual content. It's too bad when it gets heated and the rhetoric gets nasty.

It'll be interesting when the new coach is announced. Half the board will go nuts in favor, the other half in total disbelief. Opinions are like ------, everyone has one and mine is always better than yours.

The BC loss then VT hearing the boo's at the put this team into a tailspin. If they don't beat ND, I don't see them beating anyone in Feb (maybe Cal if Cal doesn't show up).

If they look good against ND and win that it may snap them back into some sort of reasonable level of play and they may look a little better.

If they lay another egg for ND they're prob not going to be competitive for another handful of games. All depends if they decide to play defense as well.
