LOL - When did we go back to voting using paper ballots?? And if they are going to use paper ballots, shouldn't we be marking them with "ball point" pens. My voting location used felt tip and the ink seeps through the ballot and outside the circle because the ballot appears to be on really thin paper.

Actually... It was pretty easy in comparison to the past... Yeah there are paper votes for a trail, and then scanned, but 'when I grew up' they use to be just lever machines, there were NO paper votes.

The process today was verify who I am, got a ticket, go to the proper desk/district record my name to the ballot given. INK in the circles, go have it scanned, and done. I was in and out where I am in 10 minutes. Last two pres elections it was a line for about 20 minutes, the process today is pretty dang quick.

FYI The PAPER scan ballots have been in place for about 12 years that I can recall.

Yeah, we never saw or marked them... The paper trail like the 'chip record' lol... So how do we know 'those paper trails' were really right lol. Ah the good old days where they probably had a camera in back that could figure out what someone voted from the count change on the fly... lol

At least we dont have to deal with hanging chads... and the 'father of the Internet' who was in diapers more than I was.

ROFL I remember CCTV Tech/Web Cameras didn't exist like that then versus now... damn tech... Cellphones barely existed... just Car Phones.

Mine was a blank paper that you feed into a machine then the votes were all on a screen. It printed your picks onto the blank paper which you then took to another machine which sucked it in and scanned the picks. Never seen that system before.
