Not sure if or how it gets split with the rest of the conference. Also, how does it work with Clemson making the CFP?

We get a travel subsidy from the ACC, and we might win or lose money based on our ticket allotment.

So technically “yes,” but effectively “no.” It’s nothing to get excited about.

The same is true for Clemson. The conference gets a heightened payout, and its split amongst all the schools (except ND - I don’t think that they get a cut of FF money). The do, however, split bowl payouts when they participate in the ACC bowl pool (unless they play in the OB, and the ACC gets a heightened payout, or unless they’re in the playoff - then they aren’t in the ACC bowl pool).

it matters that as many teams get in the bowls to have more money on the pot to split.
