Report: Chandler Jones OD'd on pills Saturday and was taken to hospital.

Im pretty sure I OD'd on Synthetic weed. It was about 5 years ago and the memory of it will probably never leave me. I had no idea how dangerous it was or anything since it was legal, all I know is either smoke the real stuff or nothing at all. It was very scary and pretty much the worst 3 hours of my life.

If this was weed, he wouldn't have been hospitalized and nobody would know or care. This is much worse, and for a pro athlete...it's just dumb. I know most football players aren't the brightest, but the stupidity here blows my mind.

Some people shouldn't use drugs... Reminds of being at phish shows 20 years ago and watching people eat too much acid or mushrooms, manage your GD buzz people. It's all fun and games in the parking lot, ripping balloons, pounding jaeger, and downing beers but when you are trying to work through a 40 minute tweezer people lose their god damn shite and at phish shows they drop like flies. Mix in a bottled water every so often. If you can't do that find some good friends, who will look out for you. who the let chandler run to the cops with this. Exactly, he freaked out, lost his shite and in an hour was fine. Again, certain people should not use drugs and apparently chandler is one of those people. Next...

Synthetic Weed is legal in Massachusetts. So he won't get into legal trouble. In the NFL you get 3 strikes with weed before you get suspended.

Jones will likely get strike 1 if he has to take a drug test in the next weeks.

big difference b/w regular weed and synthetic weed. synthetic is VERY dangerous. People have died. Many have freaked out. Nkemdeche from Ole Miss jumped out a 3rd story window on synthetic weed and probably cost himself 10+ picks in the draft. We're still not sure what happened to his brother.

Im pretty sure that synthetic weed is not currently banned from the NFL. As hard as that is to believe. Some of the stuff that is considered PED's and weed is banned - but synthetic which is so very dangerous, is not. Its astonishing. Ive read an article from 2014 that it was not banned at that point and read a reddit thread from today saying its not banned. Shocking. no other way to put it. So even if this is proven to be true any way, he;s not going to be suspended.

And a big reason to smoke synthetic weed is to pass the tests. I think you can test positive in some cases but its much more rare and it exits the body much faster.

My advice to everyone - is to get this illegal in all states (its already federally illegal) as fast as possible. And if you really need something, legalize pot because it is so much safer and less addictive.

I didn't know its technologically not banned in the NFL. I just figured it was. I do know for a fact Synthetic weed is legal in MA. So he won't get into legal trouble if it was Synthetic weed.

I honestly have no clue what synthetic weed looks like or how its used. I mean I like about 90% of college kids did try pot in college so I know what that is like. I do know its illegal in most states but also most states will not charge you if you have a below a gram on you if you are caught with it.

Well, the biggest difference of the 'legalization' is that you can buy synthetic weed at gas stations and smoke shops. You can't buy weed like that.
