I am guessing this too. It makes sense to me. We have leaner good pass rusher type guys. Our front seven should be blitzing as they do that better. We don't seem to be big and strong enough to hold our ground for a longer period of time and stay in our gaps waiting for the play to get there. We need to be more aggressive and shoot the gaps trying to make plays. Make them react to us. Seems this should help us in the run game too. It may result in some big plays here and there but those are happening already anyway. At least we will stop them for losses or no gains more often putting them in second and third and long which is much better for our D. Should result in more big plays for our D.

If this is the plan though it seems strange to me that they let Lakeim say this to the media. Why warn them about it?

I don't know if it's reasonable, and we certainly have been fooled before, but i have a feeling the D might have its best game in a long time.

If Syracuse wants to win tomorrow, offense has to be opened up, DeVito needs to throw the ball into the tight windows and plays need to for the first time this year, utilize the middle of the field on slants and seam routes. Also for the love of God, please feed Abdul Adams the ball. Get him into a rhythm and he will break one. DeVito needs to run too and not take sacks. Defense, gap responsibility, get off blocks, contain and keep Duke quarterback in the pocket and of course, cover their receivers. Most important thing for defense is to tackle as in gang tackle. Weather may be bad tomorrow so everything has to go right for the Orange. Here's to hope, Go Orange!!!!!!!!!!!
