The turnovers that bugged me so much during the chat, were not as impactful as I thought during the game. They were bad. They were completely unforced. But they occurred for the most part early in the game and did not lead to many points. Three or four within the first 10 minutes. That said, we have to avoid situations where we dribble into the lane or jump with nowhere to go, and nobody to pass to.

Has JB explained why he subbed in Trish and Rakeem with about two minutes to go in the first half? Absolute momentum killer. First, Trish takes a quick shot and does not run the clock as he probably should have. Then, Rakeem commits a couple silly fouls that lead to Wisconsin points. Manage the clock well there and we go into halftime with a 10 point lead. Unfortunate.

when we click on all cylinders we are unstoppable. Looking forward to 40 minutes of that tonight.

What baffled me about subbing in Triche was the fact he had two fouls. Why risk him getting a cheap third for two minutes of action? If we needed a guard sub, you're telling me MCW couldn't have gotten that PT?

Im guessing at this point MCW must have been caught banging Julie. Nothing else makes sense on why he cannot buy a sniff.

Yes, JB explained it. He got Triche up at just under 6 mins because he wasn't happy with Dion's effort on defense as another 3 got drained. JB yelled at him all the way down court and Dion looked back 3 times. What happened though was that the clock never stopped until 2 something. Meanwhile we had our barrage and I mentioned in chat that JB would probably call Triche back, but he didn't. Rak got up after Triche did too come in and was because Keita was tired. BTW, how many turnovers did we have? 6? We'll never get to 0.

It's not the number of turnovers, it's the unforced ness of them that was bothersome. At the time. In the chat. After which I then came here. And said. It was not as impactful as I thought.

Thx for the tidbit on JB. Strange that he wouldn't call triche back. He always seems to be one who sticks with what works.
