Are they any better with their predictions than SU fans?ND fans believe Carr will be their starter next year.

Collins isn’t a depth piece, he is a legit contender to start. Williams is a year ahead as far as being in the program already, so he has that advantage for sure, but Collins isn’t a depth acquisition, he is a high end guy who just hasn’t had a shot yetIt’s just a feeling I have, and I think there will be an open QB competition, but Collins seems more like a depth piece. I think Williams is QB1 as of right now.
Yikes. Considering Collins is already at SU i doubt it relates to him playing at LSU in any way.LSU true freshman QB crashed his Charger and was found unresponsive but alive today. (Not Collins, but just noting this since it's a potential change to their QB room)
This could be a solid team but I think they struggle to 6-7 unless one of the qb’s really elevates. The schedule is killerMeh… I just disagree.. over under is 5 wins.
I think that is fair. Tough to run the table at home. We couldn't do it this year.Meh… I just disagree.. over under is 5 wins.
Last year, Fran had to bring in someone who could start. The roster makeup forced it; CDRW wasn’t it.Collins isn’t a depth piece, he is a legit contender to start. CJ Carr vs Steve Angeli competing in the Spring. Carr was injured most of this year and Angeli looked very good as Leonard's backup this year. Or Portal TransferHe isn't in line to start.
you’re not the only oneMeh… I just disagree.. over under is 5 wins.

Fair but I would put it at 6. But really I think its really difficult to put any over/under on the season at this point. Too many unknowns, especially at QB which obviously plays a large roll in what happens.Meh… I just disagree.. over under is 5 wins.
Hartman and, especially Leonard, are not Day 1 talents.Day 1 NFL Draft level talents passed him over, yes. And that's an indictment on him?
That's the thing about college football... It isn't like any team is trying to replace Tom Brady after 20 years of being the best QB in the game. The last 25 years of watching the program? Let me know who the next Barron, Wax, McCord, Dungey, Strickland, Guthrie, Lemon, Nassib, Sales, Shamarko, Pugh, Chibane, Goggins, Lemon, Vaughn are? would love to know.
What are you talking about? Daniels and Nuss. This is a Rickie Collins thread.Hartman and, especially Leonard, are not Day 1 talents.
Follow the thread. There is a logical progression. What are you talking about? Daniels and Nuss. This is a Rickie Collins thread.

This year, Cuse has someone who they think could start, and Collins is also someone they obviously think could start.
Next year, if all goes well, they won’t need to bring in a transfer at all.
I’m all for this depth building thing!
Sorry, I mistook this thread for a Rickie Collins thread, and did not think about the constant need to follow along for the derailment. Silly me.Follow the thread. There is a logical progression.

Michigan and Washington went 6-6 in 2024, TCU went 5-7 in 2023. Very few teams can "keep it going" the year after a season where a lot of seniors lead the way.Honestly, what Fran is building is remarkable. But some unfortunately don’t have the patience to see it
Yea who wants to go 8-4 if that means more offseason hustling. I think it’s crazy to base any strategy on players sticking around for multiple seasons. Try to assemble the best possible roster year in year out and if they want to run it back then it’s a bonus.Michigan and Washington went 6-6 in 2024, TCU went 5-7 in 2023. I'd rather go 6-6 and figure out who the QB is for 2 or 3 years to come than go 8-4 and have to start over again at QB in 2026.
That's a suicidal strategy. Florida State in 2024 cannot be ignored - they tried to run it back via the portal and failed miserably. Playing the short-term every year is not sustainable; it's the mark of a desperate coach (either desperate to keep his job or move on to a new one).Yea who wants to go 8-4 if that means more offseason hustling.
