DE-I'm going assume that Welsh and Robinson retain their jobs with Johnson and Thompson backing them up. Would love to see Donnie Simmons return and give us a speed pass rusher. Any shot MPB gets another chance? Does Trejo fit in here? Pretty good depth at DE-DT not so much, which brings me to:
DT-Crume and Wayne Williams with Sloan backing them up. This is based on Williams enormous talent, being here for Spring practice, and the small amount of time Sloan has received to this point. Does Raymon make it back in time? Also have Marcus Coleman, but he's listed as 6'1 259. Need a couple of more DT's for Depth-maybe one of the DEs move-How about Manley? Would love to bring in a JC Zian Jones-type here for immediate depth.
LB-Davis-Arciniega-Lynch. Seems like the easiest transition, as it keeps everyone in the same position. Think Hodge will play a ton and hope they find a role for Kirkland, as well. Anyone hear anything on Oliver Vigille/James Washington? Though Spruill was excellent this year and will miss him, feel really good here. We've come a long way in the LB position from not that long ago.
CB-Reddish, Whigham. Think Morgan will be back as the #3 CB and by the fact that Jaston George was behind a walk on this year, think a true Freshman has a real shot at the 2-deep here.
S-Eskridge-Kelly. Was really a toss up for me between Kelly and Desir, both good players, but Kelly seems around the ball a ton. Could use a JC key for Depth here and could tell that guy he could have a great shot to start as a Senior, as both Desir and Kelly only have one year left. Think Ben Lewis makes a ton of sense here and would start practicing him there at Bowl practices, as we will be packed at WR and thin at S.
P-Dixon=That was easy
PR-Desir-Did a very nice job this year.
