My entire Brewster floor used to come back from classes and watch GH in the lobby. This was at the height of the Luke and Laura storyline.

When I was a kid, my two older sisters always got home from school before me. So, I was forced to watch whatever they wanted, which was General Hospital.

Luke and Laura, the Ice Princess, Robert Scorpio, Anna Devane, Dr Noah Drake, Frisco - were all part of the foundation of my youth. Completely ridiculous. I loved it.

guilty. way back early 80's i was rather quick to realize that quite a few of the girls in cayuga hall were gathering every afternoon in the fishbowl to watch GH. i found i was soon able to rather easily ingratiate myself into the flock and share my casual suppositions about luke , laura, robert scorpio and a young throaty demi moore. tab cola and chips soon led to lunches at pathfinder , happy hours at broadwells and if lucky...a drunken stumble back from bucklands tasting the sweet oniony oil of an oswego sub with shakers on her lightly salted potato chip lips... So thank you Luke for the memories. .

Agreed, and Anthony Geary passing away is also sad.

A complicated character was Lucas Alonzo Spencer. Anthony Geary just owned that role for decades.
