I remember doing a book report on him in junior high or high school. Nowadays he would be a one and doner. Back then, he was blackballed and didn't play in the NBA until he was 27. Fortunately he found a home in Phoenix. Was elected to the Basketball HOF despite a limited NBA career due to age and injuries. He would have been a star in any generation in the NBA.
