Can't tell you how many times I got caught in a rabbit hole and watched three straight hours of American Pickers. RIP Frank.

He has some serious back issues a few seasons ago, so bad that he couldn't lift anything heavy.

When he was replaced by Mike's brother, they mentioned that Frank was off having back surgery. Didn't know that he'd had a stroke a few years ago.

During the show over the years, it was disclosed that Frank had a number of health issues - Crohn’s disease, back surgery etc were mentioned. Had to be difficult dealing with those issues while traveling thousands of miles in a van. The other guy, Wolfe, was the smiling, extrovert personality guy while Frank was more quiet, mercurial, serious and loved collecting old cars and motorcycles. Those health issues are very painful to be constantly on the road riding to very rural areas in a van. Was an interesting program. Sad he passed so young and so sick.

It was a cool show. I watch it on and off (I seem to always running around doing something) but it seemed like the dynamic between Frank and Mike was what made the show.

Frank was a very likable guy. Condolences to his friends and family.
