I don't know any details, but FrankieFan passed away unexpectedly on 3/13. SU class of 07. He was 39.

I know he was a bit crazy with his postings here, but any time I bumped into him in person he was a really cool dude. Originally met him in Chicago during the epic sweet 16/elite 8 run. After we beat Virginia, he and I somehow ended up in a limo with Danny Parkins that took us back to the team hotel. We partied all night. We've linked up in NYC for games, and most recently the Maui Invitational on Oahu. He introduced us to his new wife. Frankie, like most of us here, out kicked his coverage for sure.

RIP brotha. I'm sure someone will keep the "crazy takes" going here for ya.

Oh man, was he a younger guy? We've alternated between agreeing and disagreeing on a ton of topics, and the fabric of this place will definitely not be the same without him.

Very sad to hear. I had some frustrations with some of his crazier postings. One was his very last post. But he was a true SU fan and I will miss his posts.

He could be a bit unconventional as a poster, but you could tell he was very passionate about the team.

So sad to hear about someone passing at such a young age.
Condolences to his family and those who had became close to him like CT.

Sad to hear. So young. I recently went to a funeral and one of the eulogists talked about the dash. Basically, what happens in between your birth and your death. In Frankie's case it would be 1986-2025. The dash is what defines you. How you live life. Without knowing Frankie, or his life story, it sounds from your stories that Frankie's dash was one of a very passionate Cuse fan who loved traveling to see his team and loved hanging with his good buddy, Cuse Troop. We know he was passionate on here. Prayers to all his friends and family. Death sucks at all ages.

Damn, that’s horrible. He’s been a member for 7 years and had almost 10,000 posts. Sometimes a little over the top but a big fan and a consistent poster.

So sorry to hear that troop. Thoughts and prayers to his family and friends. Gif bless him.

Oh, man! 39! That's just unfair. I'm so sorry for his friends and family.

What? Looks like his last post was on the same day responding to me about Kline (incorrectly I might add). That sucks.

We need to get some good mojo around here. This place has turned into March Sadness

Oh man, RIP to FrankieFan. That’s awful. Only 39! Way too young. His posts were a bit outlandish at times, but he was incredibly passionate and loved Cuse. He was such a longtime fixture on this board and I appreciated his perspective. Some of his H0T Takes weirdly wound up being spot on.
