He had quite a run. Always sad to lose these guys -- not many left from his generation now.

Very few from his generation were able to connect with the guys playing today like Pesky did. He was a staple in the Red Sox clubhouse and was admired by many of the players.

Sad to see him go. I was a huge fan of Nomar and to see their relationship grow was really special.
