A legend here. There’s no greater analogy than him being compared to JB and JB to him. Does right by both of them. Lute was a Legend recruiting and it wasn’t $$$.

I've mentioned before that my dad went to Iowa where Lute coached before Arizona. It's not very often that a coach leaves a school and the fans still have nothing but good things to say about him. Lute coached Iowa's only modern era final 4 team in 1980 and Kenny Arnold, who was the PG on that team, developed brain cancer in 1985. Lute did a lot of fundraising for Kenny and helped facilitate treatment at the Mayo Clinic campus in Arizona. Just a great coach and classy guy.
