Lenny and Squiggy were a lot of fun. Originally the two were writers for the L&S show. They did a greaser band act at staff parties just for fun, sort of a two man Sha Na Na. Anyway, they were so good, one day the producer suggested they write themselves into the show as the girls' last chance dates, and the rest is history. He was also a real baseball guy. RIP Dave Lander.
