RIP Steven Hill

Steven Hill, who played District Attorney Adam Schiff on Law & Order in the 1990s, and also had a starring role on the 1960s TV series Mission: Impossible, has died. His daughter, Sarah Gobioff, told The New York Times, Hill died Tuesday in Monsey, N.Y. He was 94.

RIP, but I thought he was long gone. In fact, I thought the reason he left the show was because he had died.

Rip, I was a huge Law and Order fan, I believe he was in the Firm also.

He was on Mission: Impossible for just the first season, then Peter Graves took his place.

Adam Schiff was one of my all time favorite characters, who spoke one of my all time favorite lines: "Oh, the Constitution -- that pesky thing."

And another one:

Claire: "The school circled the limos to keep the Barclay name out of it."
Adam: "I'm shocked."
Jack: "This isn't stink bombs in the boys room, Adam! They hindered prosecution of an A felony!"
Adam: "Now I'm very shocked."
