I got word of Coach Dodge’s passing last week via my J-D network. A bunch of great stories were shared by my friends who were students of his at Tecumseh Elementary.

A great coach but even a better man. RIP.

I also remember being bounced high on the trampoline, learning to backflip, climbing to the top of the ceiling on the ropes (he never worried about that ) lots of dodgeball and all those things gym teachers can’t do anymore. Always kind with a great smile. Will be missed.

Lunchtime dodgeball was always the 4th graders vs the 5th graders.

You took a beating for a year, and then it was game on.
