Didn’t realize he was Gates’ coach in HS and as an assistant at Kent State. He was in Canton today and got a big shout out and camera time during Gates’ induction speech. Gates even “joked” that Murphy gave him money — “a lot of money when you weren’t supposed to.” Lol.
