Roberson health

agree with everyone else -- I was worried until he came in with about 2 minutes left. Also, if they think you have a concussion they take you back for x-rays -- Tyler was on the bench the whole time. JB just wanted DC in.

No reason to think he won't be good for Friday

DC came in and had a great game - no need not to let TRob get some rest.

Roberson hit a jump shot and 4-4 from the line. 9 rebs. He was on fire. Played 2 great games here.
I thought his 4 free throws early in the 2nd half were really large. Really kept the pressure on the Blue Raiders.

Did you notice that two of their runs today came in immediate aftermath of Silent-G and Lydon missing 2 free throws? Provides a jolt for the other team.

Which reminds me, there is NO reason why Malachi should not be a 78-80% free throw shooter starting next year. He's leaving 2 ppg on the table every dang game. For him, I am convinced it is concentration/attention to detail.

those fts were as important as anything - not just for the points, but psychologically since we were so cold from the line to that point
Especially since for most of this season, he was one of the worst FT shooters on the team.
He seems to have improved quite a bit towards the end of the season when we need it the most.

Richardson shoots a little over 70% from the FT line now and averages about one missed free throw per game, so I'm not sure how he is leaving 2ppg on the table.

I hear ya/Good point. I'll just say this ... I've never seen a 70% free-throw shooter make 1 of 2 more often than Malachi. What he does is occasionally offset that with a 6-for-6 game or something like that. I love #23 (am NOT a hater), but he missed some clinching free throws in either/or the Clemson or Wisconsin games.

He has had some poor games at the line, and those misses are what sticks in the mind. If he can eliminate those, he'll be an 80%+ guy.
