I was shocked by how bad Shafer's defensive call was after that big face mask call on the USC tackle. He basically sold out on a second and 25 and left the corner alone with Woods. I would think a little restraint would have been enough to hold USC to a field goal attempt on that possession.

Basically the best QB to WR combo we will see all year. I didn't expect us to stop it but at least keep toe to toe on scoring. We are getting dangerously close to letting the game get out of hand.
