Lowery is so good against the pass. Purdue doubled him a couple of times and he just bull rushed them to put pressure on Card.

Disagree completely. It looked like our goal was to not get our ends up field and create running lanes for Card. We came at him up the middle and kept contain.

Have they made any tackles all year? We didn't contain their QB very well either.

DEs individual highs through 3 games:
Tackles - 6 total
TFL - 0.5 total
Sacks - 0.5 total

None of our DEs have a full TFL or Sack this year.

Purdue had 53 pass plays and we had 2 sacks while allowing the QB to complete 69.6% of his passes. So that is the end result of having good pressure?

It’s more impressive considering we get ZERO pass rush. This is where we miss Linton and Geer.

Why would they get away from the strength of the scheme? That would be 3 against 5. They are out man. Not gonna get much pressure with that. The scheme thrives on 4,5 and 6 man pressures from multiple stunt/blitz packages. Even when the DE's are not getting sacks their movement is opening up rush lanes for others. I do agree that its wasnt one of their best nights in terms of individual pass rushing.
