105 with McCord, LQA, and Sparrow - keeping them unit confirmed.

Have no idea what happens to the walkons

Apologize if I got the class status wrong (next year).

Thanks for doing this. This kind of view gives me great optimism for 2025 and beyond. Fran is building a competitive roster and it shows. LGO!!

Amazing. I was hoping to get this. I am still interested in who people think could be standouts on that defense?

Candidates for an All ACC team….

DT: Watson and Perry
DE: Jobity (I am a big fan)
LB: nobody right now
S: Devin Grant
CB: Kerr (he held his own as a true frosh)

Regarding Grant, he played on a torn MCL all season and had to adjust to a new defense and a new position than the CB position he played all spring and the preseason. I think he makes a big jump up in 2025.

Did Fran run off the junior class?

2 DL
0 LB
4 DB (none of which has produced all that much)

1 OL
1 WR
1 TE
0 QB
0 RB

9 out of 105….

Didn’t grant play corner but when wax got hurt, Barron moved to linebacker so grant moved back to safety or “star” position? Are you thinking he’ll be set as a safety going forward?

I think the staff was reacting to a couple of issues when Grant was moved to safety and Barron was moved to linebacker.

They had to come up with another LB to replace Wax. And Grant was an issue at CB. Moving him to safety and Barron to LB addressed a couple of areas and made a major difference in the effectiveness of the defense.

Anyway, I think if Grant had played safety all spring and preseason, instead of CB, it would have helped him. He will also presumably be 100% for the fall (anyone know if he had surgery for the torn MCL?). I assume if that is coming, it will wait until after the bowl game?

He was in a few pictures walking off the plane so looks like he will be playing so I assume not yet.

I'm still frustrated that Jobity had to play so much his freshman year and didn't redshirt. He's still so new to football he has work to do. However, I agree he has high potential.
