Actually the only real player we have right now is Kyle, and White , and give Fennell a chance. At least he might be able to hit a few shots, and make a free throw.
I’m aware of the NIL situation and it is not last year. It only took the first 30 point blowout for someone to use this as an excuse. The transfers being worse here than their other stops is not because of NIL. We did not sign guys from Hofstra and Delaware this year.

I was thinking the same thing about our talent all week. We have some guys who can jump and seem fast but arent quick (and there is a difference). We also are very limited in terms of actual basketball skill. And don't get me started on game and court sense. We are better than last year but a long way from good.
I agree, but what I’m seeing is an inability from any of them to get in the lane and score. They are all stand still shooters. We still have no post players. Can you imagine Kyle playing along a big man who would occupy the defense? He would be a weak side monster.

Yea. Guilty as charged comparing this team to last year. I can also say I think we will be able to stack wins in the ACC but that won’t matter cuz with this staff and team taking off even one half of basketball against any # of bottom feeders in ACC play will put us into the mess of 20 other teams missing the tourney cuz they have no quality non conference wins and bad losses.
While this is true the excuses every time we suck can’t be money. We allocated way more to basketball this year compared to last year.
I mean that was supposed to be Freeman. It still doesn’t solve the fact Red is running the same stuff JB ran with Wallace and Carmelo 20 and 30 years ago with no one near as good.

Yes, that starts at the top. Iowa State was 2-22 four years ago. Make the right hire and all of this goes away. And if you want more money Red ain’t the guy for that either. He hates that part of the job.

Budget friendly yes for sure. I mean Fran bought a lot of goodwill his freshman year. Ending a season ranked and with multiple wins over ranked teams. Autry hasn’t even sniffed that except maybe that UNC game and this is year 3 of the same crap.
Fran has gotten a lot of additional money for assistant coaches and a bunch more for support staff.
