Rumblings: Notre Dame to ACC allbeit Partial...

No offense, but you obviously havent read my previous posts... this was a done deal and without giving away my source over the past 3 months I have given the story as it is happening...have faith in your poster and fans...'go Cuse

Thanks for your informative, honest (no hype) posts these last few months.

My view has been skeptical, but now that it is done, I believe this is a great move by the ACC and ND and a huge plus for SU and the ACC member schools.

You are one of the biggest winners in this expansion drama for keeping us informed and having your seemingly unlikely updates actually come true.

Arb, I'll admit that I was skeptical with all your posts, but you're looking pretty good over the last few days. Well done.

What I mean is that this may finally cause them to finally divide the football and basketball once and for all.

Todd McShay: If Notre Dame played in the ACC, I think they would be slightly behind Florida State, but you can make an argument that they're better or equal in talent to any other team in the conference. (I broke the league up into "talent tiers" to work this through, with teams in no particular order inside the tiers: Tier 1 is Florida State; Tier 2 is Clemson and Virginia Tech; Tier 3 is Georgia Tech, Miami, NC State, North Carolina and future ACC member Pittsburgh; Tier 4 is Boston College, Maryland, Syracuse, Virginia and Wake Forest; Tier 5 is Duke.)

Seems appropriate to me but I hope we can get into McShay's Tier 3 within 2 years in ACC.
